I have this friend and we have been going to the same church for as long as I can remember. We also go to the same school. It is so much fun spending so much time together! But lately, it seems like she has not been drawing nearer to Christ, and growing in her relationship with Him, but going the opposite direction. She has changed a lot and she is starting to change even more, in her appearance and personality and even attitude towards me, her other friends and her parents especially. She always seems to be looking for others to fulfill her and to make her feel good about herself. We used to be able to tell each other anything and everything and always be straight with each other if we thought something was going on…but the way things are going it seems like I don’t even know her some days. Sometimes, she’ll act like she doesn’t even know me either. She started hanging out with some people whose goals aren’t exactly to honor God. On these days, she would actually come out and be mean to me. Not really really mean, but those words hurt, especially when coming from her. I want to remind her about Jesus, and that she shouldn’t be looking for approval in anything or anybody other than Him, but I don’t know how to say it. Please help!! I just want to help my BFF who is going in the WRONG direction! I want her and me to be friends like we used to be!
